Buckwheat is a crop that has been a staple on Czech tables since the Middle Ages. It is nutritionally rich, containing high amounts of fiber, protein, and the flavonoid rutin. It also includes B vitamins and minerals. As a result, it positively affects our immune system and has beneficial effects on the nervous and vascular systems.

It is mechanically hulled (not thermally), so it retains more nutrients that are often lost during heat processing. This buckwheat is gluten-free (with a guaranteed gluten content of less than 20mg/kg).

Uses of buckwheat flour in the kitchen: You can prepare traditional French crepes from buckwheat flour, which are excellent both sweet and savory. It is suitable for gluten-free pastries and baked goods, pancakes, for thickening, dumplings, gnocchi, etc.
