Digital thermometer with a temperature range of -50 to +420°C.
It is ideal for working with chocolate as it quickly indicates the temperature (speed of temperature reading is crucial during tempering). However, this thermometer can also be used for general pastry work.
This thermometer measures surface temperature - when measuring the temperature of chocolate/cream in a bowl, it is better to stir it.
The thermometer is not suitable for measuring boiling ingredients - the escaping steam may prevent accurate temperature measurement.
Batteries are included in the package.
