Product detailed description
The ideal procedure for infusing tonka into a liquid:
- Heat milk or cream (ideally both of plant origin).
- Using a fine grater (microplane), grate a tonka bean into the heated liquid.
- CAUTION! Tonka is very aromatic, so be conservative with it on your first attempt.
- Cover the liquid and let it infuse for about half an hour, then strain.
- Continue according to your recipe.
