We operate an online store on the website eshop.petra-stahlova.cz.

To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

The processing of personal data is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

Processing Personal Data in Case of Purchase

If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the data you provide. These are mainly billing details: name, surname, address, phone number, and email address.

Why?

We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods or services to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, possible complaints, or your inquiries.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, possibly for handling complaints, etc.).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of the contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with our legal obligation.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of our service and then for 10 years from the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

II. Who will have access to the data?

Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or individuals who help us run our online store will have access to the data. These are:

  • The operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Company ID 289 35 675, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25 395)
  • Companies involved in the transportation of goods
  • An external accounting or auditing firm whose employees are bound by confidentiality

We process personal data only within the European Union.

III. What else should you know?

We do not have a designated Data Protection Officer.

In our company, there is no decision-making based on automatic processing or profiling.

V. Your Rights in Connection with the Processing of Personal Data

GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process about you, request access to this data, and have it updated or corrected, or request a restriction of processing. You can request a copy of the processed personal data, request us to delete personal data under certain circumstances, and in some cases, you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or take your claims to court.

These conditions are effective from 7 June 2024.
